Award winning guitarist Sean Spicer has given his heart and talents one hundred percent to the Lord! Endorsed by Gibson guitars, Hughes & Kettner Amps and Digitech Multi-Effects, his warm tone is mixed with bluesy melodic riffs and tasteful effects influenced by David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Andy Summers (The Police) and reminiscent of Larry Carlton’s Contemporary Jazz & fusion.
Sean has recently received the 2010 Gospel Music Association (GMA Canada) Jazz/Blues Song of the Year with his song “No Compromise” from his debut CD “Olive Tree”, on City of Peace Instrumentals. The song is dedicated to the late Keith Green and his “Last Days” Ministries. Sean also doubles as the lead guitarist for CCM recording artist Jordan Elias (“Desert Cry”) and opens for Jordan on tour.
Produced by Canadian award winning Producer/Engineer Andrew Horrocks, “Olive Tree’ features Sean on eleven different electric and acoustic guitars including the E-bow technique which the legendary guitarist Jimmy Page used. “Olive Tree” includes 10 original ­instrumental tracks featuring some of the top Canadian CCM musicians such as Dave Brown on trumpet, Mike Janzen on keyboards, Mark Mcintyre on bass and Mark Inneo on drums.
